Guests, reminders & recurrence
Guests
Add guests to an event and Tamaton emails them a real calendar invitation, so it appears in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar with Accept and Decline buttons. Their responses come back and show on the event.
Each guest shows a delivery state, so you can always tell whether an invitation was actually sent or is still queued.
Limit: invitations are sent from your Tamaton address. If you set a connected account as the organizer, Tamaton will not email the guests, because sending as that address requires calendar write access to the connected account that Tamaton does not have yet. The event is still saved, and the guest list is marked as not invited rather than pretending otherwise.
Reminders
Reminders are delivered as in-app notifications. They survive restarts and deploys, and each one records whether it was delivered or deliberately held back — for example during your quiet hours, or for a meeting you declined — so a missing reminder always has an explanation.
Limit: email and SMS reminders are not available yet. If you choose one, it will be recorded as undelivered rather than silently dropped.
Recurrence
Repeating events use the standard iCalendar rules, so daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and custom patterns all work, and each occurrence is a real instance you can open.
When you change a repeating event, Tamaton asks whether you mean this occurrence, this and all following, or the whole series — and shows you what the change will affect before you confirm it, including any occurrences you previously customised that would be reset.
