1. Introduction

Tamaton (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Tamaton operating system, our website (tamaton.com), and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide: Name, email address, reserved email preference, date of birth, company name, tier interest, and any messages you send through our contact or registration forms.

Automatically collected: Device type, operating system version, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction timestamps when you visit our website.

On-device data: Tamaton's local AI model processes commands entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store the content of local commands unless you explicitly opt in to cloud-augmented processing.

Google user data (only if you connect a Google account): With your authorization, we access your Gmail messages and metadata (headers, labels), your Gmail settings (read-only, so we can mirror your folder and label structure), the ability to send mail and modify labels on your behalf, your Google Contacts (read-only), and your Google Calendar events (read-only).

3. How We Use Your Information

This section does not apply to Google user data, which is governed solely by Section 5.

• Process registrations and communicate with you about access
• Respond to inquiries and support requests
• Send product updates and announcements (with your consent)
• Improve and optimize the Services (excluding Google user data — see Section 5)
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. Cloud-Augmented Processing

When a command is routed to cloud-based models, the content of that request is transmitted securely to our cloud providers. We process the request, return the result, and do not retain command content beyond the duration of the request unless required for debugging with your explicit consent.

5. Google User Data

Tamaton's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use it: only to provide and improve user-facing features you use: showing, searching, sending and organizing your mail in the unified inbox; spam and phishing protection; AI-assisted triage, summaries and drafts you request; and showing your contacts and calendar.

We do not: use Google user data for advertising (including personalized, retargeted or interest-based ads); sell it; use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending; transfer it to data brokers or information resellers; or use it to train, develop or improve generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.

AI processing: to provide AI features you use, relevant content may be sent to our AI model providers to process your request. They act on our behalf, may not use it to train their models, and do not retain it beyond what is needed to fulfill the request.

Sharing: we transfer Google user data to third parties only as needed to provide or improve these features, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with your notice.

Human access: our staff do not read your Google user data unless you give explicit permission for specific messages, it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is required by law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Retention and deletion: we keep Google user data only while your account is connected. Disconnecting removes our access, and you can delete synced data in Settings or by emailing privacy@tamaton.com. You can also revoke access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating our Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing), and we require them to maintain equivalent data protection standards. We may also disclose information when required by law. Google user data is never shared with analytics or advertising providers; see Section 5.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, as well as the right to restrict or object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tamaton.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
